Join us for a day of tactical warfare, camaraderie, and great fun at the BRGA Warhammer 40k Match Play event! Taking place at Newtown Social Club, players will battle through two Strike Force-sized games (up to 1500 points) across mission-based maps, with painted armies and friendly faces.

BRGA Warhammer 40k Match Play Event – Saturday Showdown at Newtown Social Club
Prepare your forces and polish your dice – BRGA invites you to an exciting day of Warhammer 40,000 Strike Force battles! This fun and friendly event will feature two 1500-point games across mission-based scenarios using official Games Workshop rules and terrain setups.

🕚 Registration: 11:00 AM
🛡️ Format: Matched Play – Strike Force (1500pts max), 60” x 44” boards
🎯 Missions:
Game 1: Hammer and Anvil – Linchpin
Game 2: Dawn of War – Hidden Supplies
💼 What to Bring: Your fully painted army (3-colour standard), dice, tape measure, pen, rules publications, and 3 printed army lists. Electronic references welcome – just make sure they’re charged.
🥪 Extras: Light snacks provided (let us know about allergies), full licensed bar, and helpful, welcoming staff to guide you through the day. Non-GW models are welcome with clarity – this is a casual, inclusive space for hobbyists of all levels.
🏆 Battle Points: Results from both games will determine standings and prizes – but the main aim is fun!
